How to block or ignore users from SCN?

Hello, recently in my "activity" section I've got this:

How could I block this user? Or ignore? Or "ban" him?

Like report/block in Facebook/Twitter thing... but here at SCN.

Hi,

Activity feed will updates the forums update which we are following.

You might be follow coffee corner forum and so that's why you got those threads.

That user created a multiple threads with Chinese/Japanese language.

You can't block or ignore him. You can just un follow coffee corner.

Later you won't get/see those updates at your activity feed.

There is Following icon, click on it.

I know this about the follow option.

I want to block or ignore the user.

Just that. No change on "follow" options about space.

If your related forum moderator or global moderator then only possible to do disable that user account.

other wise we can't do it.

Thru alerting moderator we can ask moderators to take actions against him or thread.

There is no such option. So unfollowing the space of an attack for a time is the only way you have at the moment to don't get buried under spam notifications.

An enhancement to "Block annoying users from activity feed" is already planned.  See above link to the discussion in Idea Place. ( Sorry, I can't get the link to appear after my comments; apparently it's another side effect of Jive on IE11.)

Action has been taken already by administrator. Have a look into the status update

I believe action has already been initiated against this user.  Whenever you come across such unwanted / irrelevant posts in SCN, all you have to do is click "Alert Moderator" and add your comments so that the Space Moderators" would take action.

As already stated, Space Moderators have the option to remove the post wherever it is required but deletion / block of an user id can only be done by Global Moderators

This is clearly a case of spammer, rather than irritating member. Therefore the correct approach is not to ignore, but to notify moderator. What would be nice, however, would be a "don't receive any more notifications like this".
