Renaming of Work Center

Hello all:

I can rename a work center in ECC.  However, this new name does not flow thru to APO.  Does anyone know how to set things so if I rename the Work Center (this is the actual workcenter, not the description), it will change the Resource name in APO upon CIF?  Or do I need to manually rename the Resource in APO?

Hello Andrea,

You can't change manually the work center name in APO.

Unfortunately if you change the name in ECC the APO system is not updated. So, you have to delete WC from APO, then you change the name in ECC and you have to transfer again the WC on APO side.

To be able to delete the work center in APO you have to delete first all others objects tied to your WC (Pl.Orders, PDSs, etc.). With Where Used you can find all information's tied to the work center.
