Hi Expert,

How to configure receiver communication channel for proxy

I am using PI 7.4  , for this please brief me how to configure the receiver communication channel for proxy

which adapter i need to be use either soap or xi?

if we use soap with Xi as message protocol

then where i will get the  HTTP destination parameter?

please suggest me as soon as possible

I have PI 7.4 AEX (so Java only stack). We use SOAP Adapter with Message Protokoll XI 3.0.

We created an HTTP Destinations on PI that points to the Proxy Runtime on ABAP System (in case of ABAP inbound proxy).

Hi Abhilash,

If you are using Single stack PI and wish to communicate with backend system using ABAP proxy you use SOAP with XI. In the same scenario when you use dual stack PI you use XI adapter

Hi Ravi,

If its PI 7.4 dual stack u can use XI/WS adapter..You may use SOAP with XI in case of lone Java stack and also WS_AAE which ahs been introduced newly.
