GRC Process Control 10.0 Licensing

Hello

Does anyone know if PC control owners need a license to handle automated or manual controls built in PC? I would assume that they do since they need to have GRC access to be assigned as a control owner and also need to access GRC to review or remediate results.

Any explanation is appreciated.

Hi Stacey,

yes they do. First of all they need to logon to the front-end to follow-up actions if any. This would not be applicable when manual testing is supported by means of an Oflline Proces using Adobe Interactive Forms (AIF). However, even then you'll need a user on the back-end GRC system with an e-mail adress linked to it. Otherwise either the workflownotifications and/or AIF can't be send to the business user.

Thanks for the response. Do you know if there is a special license code for those users that only need an account with their email address linked to it? Or is it all the same type of license? We have a client who was trying to limit the number of licenses they provided to controls owners because they estimated the number of control owners to be in the hundreds.

Thanks!
