SAP HANA Cockpit drops HTTP Error 503 (XS Engine not started)

Hello together,

when i want to start the SAP HANA Cockpit from the HANA Studio, the Browser drops me n HTTP Error 503. I`m pretty sure its related due to the fact that the XS Engine wont start.

./HDB start wont start it, nor when i want to start it directly via ./hdbxsengine. The last one just drops me "aborted". I`m trying to start it with the sidadm. For me it looks like that ./HDB start never tries to start it.

I attached the trace. The "only" suspicious i can read out of it is:

[28519]{-1}[-1/-1] 2015-02-03 16:15:07.136740 e tns_ddl          TNSClient.cpp(00818) : setServiceType no topology databaseId found!

[28519]{-1}[-1/-1] 2015-02-03 16:15:07.137248 e Basis            Crash.cpp(00729) : Crash at TREXNameServer/TNSClient.cpp:819

Reason:

exception  1: no.1000090  (TREXNameServer/TNSClient.cpp:819)

    Reached unreachable code

But maybe you guys see something i didnt. Environment is:

HDB 1.00.091 on SLES 11.3.

I attached the traces.

Thanks in advance!

-Seb.

Hi Sebastian,

You can have a look at Exposing HTTP access to multitenant database containers in SAP HANA SPS09. Hope it will help.

Best regards,

Wenjun
