Hello expert,

I wish to send a message to my user that are logged in NWBC.

I found the note that explain me how to do from sm02 if I have SRM.

I don't, so how I can do?

Someone can help me?

Thanks

Antonietta

Do you mean OSSN#  808288 - SRM: System messages are not displayed on the browser? I am afraid the note is only applicable for SRM (the service BBPSTART is SRM related); you probably will not be able to do that generically across NWBC.

In fact, I recalled submitting an enhancement request for this; regrettably, it was not in scope.

Dear Antonietta and Damian,

A workaround for this, if you put info on the logon screen as it is written in note 205487 - Own text on SAPGui logon screen and in wiki http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/EYKeDg

It will also be shown in NWBC logon screen (tested).

Hello Melinda thanks for your reply but  we are using SSO.

In fact I'm looking for a message to send to every user when user are yet logged in, like sm02.

Thanks Patrick Lanz for your specifications,

Can you suggest anythings, please?

Hello Melinda

It works as described, but when you are using single sign-on (SSO) it's not possible to display this message.

the only way you see this message is when you enter a client number who doesn't exists:

here's a picture from our sandbox:

... this workaround is not very helpful. 😉

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for sharing you are right of course - Antoinetta didn't say they are using SSO.

SM02 unfortunatelyalso does not work smoothly enough (did some tests).
