I agree with both the replies I got.

@Catherine McKenna

I checked in Idoc the material is different and in error material is different, may be it is taking dumy material. Why is that?

@Dinesh I will check that too. Thx

Is this a inbound or outbound IDoc?

If this is an outbound IDoc, check the data provided for creating this IDoc.

Else, if this is an inbound IDoc, do you have value mapping for material number sent by customer with your material master. Probably you can try with customer info record or a contract doc for reference for creating of Sales doc through this IDoc.

Thanks,

It could be possible that the material you are seeing in the IDOC is a BOM header and the material that is throwing up error is a component of the header.

Check what kind of process the IDOC is doing.

Generally, that error occurs while creating an order and the material used is not extended to the Sales Org & Distribution Channel.

Extend the material to the given sales org and Dist Channel and reprocess the IDOC, that should solve the issue.

Hi Swanand,

Message no. V1382

Please read the long text carefully:

Diagnosis
Material XXXXX is not defined for the following combination of
requirements:

- Sales organization
- Distribution channel
- Language

System Response
The system allows no further processing.

Procedure
You can check whether

- the material number that you entered is correct
- the material has been created for the sales organization and
  distribution channel
- a short text with the appropriate language exists in the material
master record (a short text must be available in the language of
either the customer or the sales organization)

The material must meet all three of the above requirements before you
can process it further.

The system determines the language of the material description in VA01
in three steps (FV45PF0M_MAAPV_SELECT).

So, it first takes the sold-to party language and if a description
of the material exists in this language, you get the material
description in that language.

If no material description is maintained for the sold-to party language,
the system will use the language of the sales organization.

If no sales organization language is maintained, the system will
lastly use the logon language.

Did you change the language of sales organization in the lately?
Maybe the language was different for a few days. Or is it a new sales
organization?

Also SAP Note Number 134013 may help you.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
