Data federator Admin tool

Hi experts,

We are using a multi source universe on SAP BW and Oracle connection.

Now in above scenario data federator engine comes into play and I learned from SCN discussions that we can compute the statistics in DFAT to make performance better.

Can you please let me know what is the best practice to use DFAT.

1) How to compute statistics to get the cardinality and other parameters.

2) How to automate this process.

3)  Any other tweaking in the parameters to improve performance.

Thanks Henry.

I got the steps from the guide (4.3.3 Filtering the recorded “statistics” to compute only those needed to optimize reports).

So we can compute the stats from existing query to influence.

But how can we automate this process and utilize the intelligence of DFAT.
