Multilingual description for packaging material types

Hi Experts,

For some business process reasons i copied packaging material type 0001 to Z001 with different description. I can able to change the description in my login language EN. Please advise/suggest for any possible ways to automatically update the descriptions in other languages.

How can you expect that SAP translates a description by itself into other languages?

This is a manual activity. In OMS2 select your material type and chose from menu GOTO > translation, then select all languages that you need and click continue to enter the description for all chosen languages

As mentioned by Jurgen there is no alternate other then updating the same manually........
