Variables in the analytical view not reflecting in calculation view

Hi,

I created a analytical view and also created variable on the date field. When preview the data, I get prompt to enter the date.

next I added analytical view in the projection 1(calculation view) and selected few fileds in aggregation and selected types in the semantics. Now when I do the data preview, no prompt is displayed.

Is there any technical reason y prompt is not popping up in calc view?

Hi Sri,

Variables from Analytic View won't be available in Calculation View.

If you want to use Variables in Calculation View, then you need to create Variables in Calculation View

If you want to filter date in Analytic View.

Then create an input parameter in Analytic View.

Add Analytic View in Calculation View in either Projection or aggregation node as per your requirement.

Map this parameter in Calculation View.

And then apply the filter in Projection/Aggregation Node
