In a world where "real modules" are FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM.
If you look inside LO you can see things as the definition of plants, material types, material groups, batches, handling units, things used in what you usually consider MM and SD. In a way it's cross-component configuration, but if you must put it inside a label ... MM.
If you look inside LE you can see things as deliveries, warehouse management, transportation, freight costs. Again if you must put it inside a label, I would say SD since it's closely related to sales and billing.
