CHARM and Single Sign On

Dear SAP gurus -

We have a requirement for configuring SSO on CHARM - Solution manager 7.1

When a user logs in to windows workstation and opens the link for CHARM to create a request or opens a link from his Outlook to approve a change request, it should go directly to Solution manager without having to put in UserID and password.

Please advise.

There is no SSO solution for ChaRM specifically. 

What you need to look at are SSO solutions for SAP in general.  You would probably need SSO support for web browsers and/or NWBC if those are being used for ChaRM.

Another option is to use SSO for the Enterprise Portal, also called SPNEGO, and create a redirect application which forwards your to your WEBUI (which should have a trust with your Portal).

As mentioned the WEBUI does not yet support out of the box SSO.
