Article valuation at GR

Dear all,

A purchase order has been created for an article with purchase price 6.25 EUR/KG and GR gets suddenly performed at 10 EUR/KG. This is what also stands as MAP in the Accounting view.

No recent price changes or GRs have been performed since the article was not active for some time.

What might be the reason?

Is your valuation price control set to V or S. Check in the accounting view of the article for the respective site you doing the GR for. If it set to S then you using standard price valuation which forces the stock to be valued at the standard price regardless what the PO is.

It is V.

The question is why the valuation occurs at MAP and not at the purchase order price?

What is the net price on the PO, do you have other condition like freight that are applicable which are increasing the price to 10eur.

Post a screen shot of the purchase condition screen and also the GR posting.

No, there are no other conditions.
