Dear All,

Required solution to migrate the BO BO 3.1 Users inbox ,favorites reports to BO 4.1

Is BO 4.1 UMT will able to migrate the user inbox,favorites reports from 3.1 to 4.1 ?

I am suggesting users,move the reports to public folder, so that i can move the reports with UMT.

Can we move the reports with out users dependency  from Users inbox ,favorites?

With Admin privileges will be able to copy the user  reports to public folders ?

or

With Admin privileges will be able to migrate the reports from user inbox,favorites reports from 3.1 to 4.1 ?

please provide me the approach or solution to come out from this situation.

UMT is the correct tool that can do all that you require.
Yes it can migrate users and their favorites, inboxes etc...
You need to have administrator privileges to access that sort of content.

But before migration and based on your questions you need to study the tool -

Vamsee,

      You would use the UMT (Upgrade Management Tool) in two options:

• You can do straight Server (XI3.x) to Server (BI4)
• You can also run the Import Wizard in XI 3.x and then use the UMT to import to server.

Hi Ajay,

My main objective with end user reports, they have created lot many reports in in favorite folder.

Need to migrate the user reports from BO 3.1 User Favorite folder to BO 4.1 user favorite folder
