Analysis -> HANA - ODBC Driver missing error message

Former Member

Hi Folks,

with my local analysis I can connect to our HANA DB via ODBC.

However, one end-user reports error message in Analysis

"HANA ODBC driver (HDBODBC*) not found. Make sure that HANA Client is installed on this machine"

HANA client is installed

HANA ODBC driver is showing up in ODBC connections

In ODBC connection admin the connect is successful

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Axel

Thanks for the pointers. It turned out that for 32bit Analysis you need the 32bit HANA client. And on my local machine I had previously 32bit HANA client installed (now 64bit client) therefore had all HANA drivers.

Also, for those troubleshooting the version 2.1 is quite different from 1.4.
