"Key does not correspond to mask" Mes. CJ609 when opening CJ20N

Hello, we faced the problem when opening transation CJ20n it shows the message "Key does not correspond to mask: 5-00-0-0-00-00000.00.00

Message no. CJ609"

We custimised our own coding mask for wbs elemets. There were adeed another coding mask "1-00-00...." .After transporting request, transaction CJ20N calls error masseage and i can't open any project. Did someone faced this kind of problems and how can i skip this message?

Hello Kir,

Any chance you can post a screen with your current coding masks setup?  I think you will need to roll back that latest transport, means changing customizing to initial stage a transport again.

Gotta be careful with coding masks!

Deleating the coding masked worked.

Hi Kir,

Check the coding you used to create in project.

May be you are using difference symbol.

Also check the coding mask for special characters you have mentioned and the same you are using in project creation.

Yes, i think the problem in system i have manually created WBS that do not match coding mask.

Also found this note 453280 - Editing Mask and Project/WBS Elements Are Not Compatible
