Plnd. ord. dep. not reversed from old asset and not carried in new asset in case of asset transfer

Hi,

We are going to transfer a asset with different asset class. We approximate transferred 5000 assets but out of these 5000 assets approximate 100 asset did not having plan reverse depreciation in old asset and not carried in new asset. (ANLC-NAFAP). We are going to transfer all assets with different assets class as per new company act 2013's amendment. We want to post effect to depreciation as per law changes. Please help me. I am very much stuck with this task from last 10 days.

Hi Suresh,

Check the depreciation key for the assets and also depreciation start date. If the depreciation key as defined as 0000 then it won't calculate the depreciation.

both the assets having same depreciation key and configuration but in one assets it is happening but not in other one.

Have you run AFAR for the assets? And also check the changed documents of the asset master.
