We are facing some issue with Inbound Queue processing in PI 7.0.There are queues starting with XBTO* which are going to RETRY status and then getting processed either very slow or after manual processing.Below is our analysis:
• The error is coming, not only for any particular receiver service, so there should not be any issue at Receiver end.
• The user is same for all the these failure cases which is XIIFUSER.
• Messages are getting processed after automatic restart or after manual processing.
• Other queues with XIAFUSER are getting processed normally with error.
• The issue is started after ECC upgrade activity.
• As per our analysis passwords are different for XIIFUSER in ECC & PI system.
Your suggestion are much appreciated on the issue.
Thanks in advance for your help.
HI Pratibha,
Could you please explain your scenario with regards to Sender adapter and receiver adapter details. From the look of it, it seems like an issue with connection to your receiver system. Is it using Proxy at the receiver end?

Sriram

Hello Diptee,
Thank you for link.
We have checked with our basis team. There is no burden on Integration Server. As we are facing issue only with queues starting with XBTO* which are going to RETRY status and then getting processed either very slow or after manual processing.
All other queues are proccessing fine. We also regularly refresh the cahce and do maintenance activities to up-to date the performance of integration server.
Could you plese help us to analyse issue further.
HI Pratibha,
The could be there are not enough threads to attend a large number of petitions
What is the time in rdisp/max_wprun_time?
What is your value in EO_INBOUND_PARALLEL? (check the page 25 http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/104ff330-5d59-2a10-f9bb-843c9415c...
This note not is exactly your problem 2055819 - XML messages intermittently failed with error HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED but you can enable the ICM trace for more information to figure out the problem.

Hi Pratibha,
It seems like an issue in connection between your IE and AE(JCO connection). Are other File related interfaces wokring fine?

hello Pratibha,
In the thread I found a comment saying
The XBTO queues are on the ABAP backend systems. They are not able to process the messages with the speed which PI is pumping them. You might want to increase the degree of parallelism on the ABAP systems so that the processing might become faster.
Did you check this?

Diptee
Hi Pratibha,
Are you getting any specific error when the messages in queue are stuck?

Naveen
