We have a situation where we want to phase out a product at a customer level. Some of the times, we will specify the customer in the Phase out table (Customer Characteristic). However, there are other times where we want to phase it out for all customers and we were hoping to use a '*' so as not have to maintain it each of the individual customers assigned to this product via a cvc. I would have thought using an '*' to represent one of the characteristics (especially customer) would be both common and standard functionality in APO Phase Out Planning, but this has not been the case?
I have not been able get this to work when I use * for the customer characteristic. I have tried have the 'Aggregated LifeCycle Planning with Phase-In/Out Profiles' both switched on and off but this is still not working.
Am I missing something obvious here or is this just a shortcoming in the design?
