Dear All,
For EM integration with ECC , if we are not communication anything back to ECC and the data flow is from ECC to EM , then what all information is updated back from EM to ECC system ?
Thanks,
Shubh.
Hello Shubh,
if acknowledgement is flagged in /SAPTRX/TSC0AS in EM system the EH_GUID is written back to table /SAPTRX/AOTREF in ECC system.
If logging is enabled in EM side, the log is written back to ECC system so that you can display it alson in ECC system in transaction /SAPTRX/ASAPLOG.
Best regards,
Steffen

Hello Steffen ,
Thanks Steffen. Is the logging enabled at rule set or event handler determines logging is on from EM? Also if there is any error in EM system and the queue is stuck in ECC . How the coomunication flow in that case from EM to ECC.
So if I uncheck the acknowledge flag and disable logging , i can remove the RCC connection from EM to ECC ?
Thanks,
Shubh.
Hi Shubh,
1. SAP EM - Rule set log task activate which updates the log in table /SAPTRX/EH_TASK - .
2. SAP EM - Event handler log - you can check in SLG1 - SAP EM.
3. SAP ECC - The acknowledgement flag writes the data back into SAP ECC table /SAPTRX/AOTREF as mentioned by Steffen.
4. SAP ECC - If the queue stuck in ECC outbound / inbound you need to implement CCMS monitoring to trigger email/alert to EM support inbox. There is no auto mechanism to update queue failures unless CCMS or custom solution in place.
5. SAP EM - Yes, you can uncheck the acknowledgment flag , however if you remove RFC destination then Define Parameter Mapping -> Assign Profile to Mapping Area - you cannot assign ECC application system for AOT and Mapping profile combination. Then EM doesn't know from which system the data comes from and ECC application data will not update anything in SAP EM.
