Delivery with out reference

Hai all...

can anyone say me a scenario where a out bound delivery is created with out reference to a sales order....?

Scenario 1:

Stock Transfer betweem Plant / Depot: Here Delivery is with reference to PO number & not Sales Order.

Scenario 2: There is a provision in SAP that Delivery can be created without PO. In this case the Delivery Type is LO. Normally this is not encouraged, probabily due to limitation in reports / most of the fields in sales order are not available in delivery.

Yes, you can certainly have an outbound delivery without ref to an order.

Check the Transaction code 'VL01no'. e.g. is the delivery type LO.

We can create delivery without order using T-code:vl010 Delivery type is LO .eg: free samples.

Hi Jhansi,

As per the standard SAP sales process,there is no delivery or outbound delivery with out a order i.e.,sales order,production order or purchase order.

But under what situation you want to do this type of delivery.
