Hi,
simple question: Is it possible to use an existing IBM GDPS storage environment, when creating a new HANA infrastructure?
Kind regards
Christian
Hi Christian,
Are you saying about GPFS ? It is the technology used to manage File system for all HANA IBM Appliances.
Thank you
Eddie

Hello Eddie,
I suppose it's about the GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex) aka "Geoplex".
Hi Christian,
Information about the certified hardware used to operate HANA on can be found at:

Hi Eddie,
no, GDPS (http://public.dhe.ibm.com/common/ssi/ecm/zs/en/zsw01920usen/ZSW01920USEN.PDF). We use it in IBM z-Environment and we wonder whether we can continue to use it with HANA.
Regards
Christian
