Same authorization for different users are not working

Hi all,

I have assigned a role to one user, then I added this role to another user. For the first user everything looks fine, but the second user got an authorization issue on the authorization object Q_GP_CODE. It looks very strange that the authorization check performs differently for the same authorization among different users.

Can anyone help me find out the reason why this strange issue happens?

Hi Danny,

It can be the user comparison issue.Please check if the user comparison is done for both the users,sometimes it happens that user buffer is not updated and you see these kind of issues.

Also check in Profile tab if any extra Profile is assigned to User A or not.

Additionally check if User A is using Reference User Authorization or not.

Hi Danny,

does user A have another profile that isn't assigned to user B?  Something must be different..

What did you perform that you got Q_GP_CODE object authorization issue?
