Hello experts,

I am new to lean WM, and would like to double check the followings. Pls help. Thanks.

1. For transfer orders, returns (LT0G) / cancllation may be invovled. To view the detailed changes of qty between storage bins, is it best to use LS24, or other Tcodes?

2. In using LT0G for return to stock from outbound delivery, what is the standard movement type in the system? The returned stock will be posted to source bin, or somewhere if using this movement type?

3. Is it the most efficient way to use LT0G for the case below, or other suggestions?

Cost center in outbound delivery need to be corrected. But transfer order for outbound delivery has been confirmed.

if you are using Lean WM then all the posting happens at storage location level only and there is no concept of storage bin(This is more towards Pick deliveries using Transfer order where u create dummy storage type and bin). All your above question is related to some type of movement from storage bin and not possible in Lean WM . I suggest please have a look on the below mentioned standard SAP link for Lean WM and its uses

Warehouse Management with Lean WM - Warehouse Management Guide - SAP Library

1) LS24 and LT0G is WM relevant transaction code, Lean WM is more at Storage location level,There is no concept of physical storage bin hence i am not sure when u write that "To view the detailed changes" what is the actual meaning however u can check the stock using MMBE in IM

2) Return to stock, means  you received something return from customer and want to put it back in the warehouse again (this will be a goods receipt scenario and you will have inbound and not outbound) the transaction happens at storage location level hence system is not going to propose you any bin (movement type for return delivery is 651)

3) WM transaction not relevant for Lean WM

Thanks for your prompt reply.

After a quick check the reference provided by you, i got some questions.

A. In LS24, different storage bins are showed. Does it mean WM but not lean WM is activated? Or, any other checking can simply know WM or lean WM activative?

B. If using LT0G (movement type 999) for the case below, should i just select the line item, change qty to zero, then exit the transaction? There is no ''save'' icon. LS24 does not show any update about this return.

After that, any other actions (Tcode)?

Case: outbound delivery status - transfer order confirmed

                                                  - GI not post.

ps. Source and detination storage type is defined the same value in movement type 999.

1) To check Lean WM is active or not please refer the below screen

B)  LT0G Process steps (There are multiple thread available on SCN please search with the term LT0G return to stock )

Select the line item enter the return quantity and select any one option which is  available on top based on your requirement (Putaway foregroud , Putaway Background or Return to stock )

C)  Source and destination storage type is defined the same value in movement type 999.

in standard SAP for 999 there is no source and target storage type mentioned however based on business requirement individually client put the value in this so i am not sure what is the business requirement which led to maintain the same value in the source and destination storage type

Thank you.
