Hi all,
How to develop an interface between SAP R/3 Recruitment (or any HR module) and a website running on third party software. A scenario before SAP WAS came into picture. There is no XI, no WAS.
What I am looking for is any practical issue someone has gone through. As of now I dont know the third party software.
Regards,
Bharat
Hello Bharat,
you have several options for Lotus Notes connectors for SAP R/3 (4.0, 4.6, 4.7, and others) such as:
- LEI by IBM (/people/sudheer.junnuthula2/blog/2006/11/17/integrating-sap-r3-using-lotus-connectors)
- it.smartconnect by itelligence (http://www.itelligence.de/de/778.php)
- ZeNotes by konplan (http://www.konplan.com/public1/_EN/solutions_zenotes.php)
- and others
They all integrate with the ABAP Stack of the SAP System. By applying one of the mentioned solutions, there is no requirement for WAS or double stack or any EAI tools.

Michael

Hi, Bharat.
One example would be like the following.
For realtime integration(via API)
R/3 : prepare custom BAPIs or Remote Enabled Function Modules with
ABAP
Web application server : call the above BAPIs or RFMs
For batch integration(via file)
R/3 : prepare ABAP program to read/write data files
Web application server : read/write and parse the above files
i think many people have used this approach before XI or SAP WAS.
And please check the following site.

Best Regards.

Hello Bharat,
I don't fully understand the question or scenario, but I read some of your other posts with the same "Subject" and it seems that you are using R/3 4.6C. In this case you could install the ITS 6.20 (External ITS) and call just about any HR transaction through the ITS on your browser. This link could then be placed on just about any website.
Good luck.

hi,
You can send mails to an external email id using <b>scot</b> transcation also <b>sost</b> transaction can be used to check the transitions.
Besides this you can send the link of your service bundled in the mail which could be recieved in the recepients lotus notes.
for further integration of your SAP business workplace with lotus notes you can go through these documentations.
