Central performance History Activation

Hi All,

In our  latest EWA report , Hardware Capacity rated as yellow and the warning message said that "No CPU virtualization data is available for at least

one shared  CPU pool LPAR(SPLPAR)". Two notes were recommended for the same which are 994025 and 1147334.

I have gone through the notes and understood that we need to activate CPH for this system, my doubt is whether I should activate this feature in the local(satellite) system or in the Solution manager system.

Hi Shankar,

If you are facing this error message in EWA report of Solution Manager system, then you will have to activate CPH in Solman. If it is of satellite system EWA report, then CPH should be activated in corresponding satellite system.

CPH holds performance data of the system locally in the system. Solution manager pulls that from satellite system as part of EWA reporting..

CPH is activated in the satellite system, but still I am observing this message in EWA.

Can you please let me know how you solved this?
