Hi Experts.
When i am doing connection test for SLDAPICUST in solman i am getting this error
Testing HTTP connection to the SLD server...
An exception has occurred:
System error: Server repository could not create function template for 'SLDJAVA_ACCESSOR_REQUE
Connection to SLD does not work
Hi,
You could check the user you have defined for the SLD
connection on the J2EE side in the JCO RFC Provider
Please ensure the password for this user is consistent throughout your
system landscape.
In solman -> TCode SMGW -> Goto "Logged on Clients" check to see what connections exist here.
Can you please run through the checks in the note:
#1057720 Missing configuration for JCO/RFC destinations of the SLD
It is possible there are many different systems updating the Solution Manager
SLD with this same user. Please identify which system has the incorrect
password, this could be any system within landscape that is sending
information to the sld.
Kind Regards,
Aidan

Hi Adkin
I found that user is getting locked when i tried connection test 5 times in SLDAPICUST. tcode,
Though i have maintained same password in java , abap , visual admin . also in SLDAPICUST,
I confirmed it by loging in in abap , java and in visual admin connection test ,
But when i am doing it in sldapicust . its giving error and getting locked in spite of correct password .
i traced user sldapiuser in SUIM TCODE . and interesting thing is when i am trying to test 1 time in sldapicust then in suim it is showing 2 attamps.
and can you please tell me process how to maintain jco rfc provide in java.
Thanks
Pramod
Hi,
RFC destination SAPSLDAPI: this is actually a JCo destination which
exists on the Java server. Please ensure that
the JCo destination is unique i.e. it must NOT exist in any other
system (in particular system copies).
If the destination is SAPSLDAPI I would strongly suspect it exists
elsewhere in the landscape, this is why we recommend destinations be
configured as SAPSLDAPI_<SID>
You could recheck the configuration of your SLD by following the
PDF document which is attached to note 768452/1143810.
Focus on section "Analysis in JCO RFC Provider: Repository Settings".
If you are sure that all data in the JCO RFC Provider is maintained
correctly but the problem persists, then stop and restart the JCO RFC
Provider service.
Kind Regards,
Aidan
Hi Guys ,
Thank you very much for your valuable suggestions.
My Problem get resolved in Dev Solman . as correct password is not maintained in JCO configuration in visual admin. Getting error in prod also . i will keep discussion rolling .
Thank you ,
Pramod

Hi,
System error: Server repository could not create function template
I think SAP KBA 1229100 - Server repository could not create function template
would help you to diagnose the exact issue at your end.
Could you share the results after following the mentioned KBA.

Gaurav

Hi
Please check
971249 - JMSServerSecurityException thrown accessing JMS resources
1929858 - PI SLDCHECK error due to locked DDIC account
1057720 - Missing configuration for JCO/RFC destinations of the SLD
Please check the Jco destination on visual admin or in nwa, depending on, which release do you have.
Also, is the Jco destination working (in Visual Administrator or NWA, dependending on the release of the SLD)? Wich user and password are maintained there? Is the user locked?
Thanks
Vikram
