Determine if client export is running or not

Hi All,

I am running scc8 export for QA client. It has been running for 9 hours now. In scc3 log screen, it shows the "Last Entry On" field timestamp as 5 hours back. The r3trans.exe in se06 is still active and CPU utilization is changing so it means its still running.

How can I confirm that the export is active and not stuck?

Found the solution. Check the tmp folder in trans directory. The file size would be growing in that and you can see the table that is being exported

yes .

/usr/sap/trans/tmp  will be constantly updated even when the logs may seem idle  until the  run is completed

Kindly close the thread  if your question is answered

Thanks ,

Hi

You can check in /usr/sap/trans/log/ &/usr/sap/trans/tmp/  for any activity .

If you had scheduled as a background job  you may check in SM37/SM66/SM50 as well.

Thanks ,

The last entry in logs is for step EXPORT PREPRATION. Are the logs updated once the export is over?
