Batch Issue against Inspection lot 03 origin in process lot (Fert Material)

Dear Expert,

I have some issue regarding batch issue of in process inspection lot which will be generated against production order 03 origin. when we make Usage decision of inspection lot which will be generated against production order 03 origin in process lot of FERT material here batch is mandatory field but batch is not required against in process inspection lot or Fert material. 

whenever we create Usage Decision of in process lot (Fert) Material batch must be entered against each lot. we dont want batch against in process inspection lot.

Hi Esha,

Check the field "parial lot assignment" in CA02 header.

I will check parial lot assignment in CA02 header with all type but here batch is till show mandatory field can you please elaborate me how i can do batch field display in process inspection lot which will be generated against production order.

Dear Esha,

I've tested with the settings below:

1. Set the field "Partial-lot assign." as '4 partial lot and batch for inspection points of last operation' in CA02 header.

2. DO NOT set the indicator 'last partial lot assignment' on any of the routing operation.

Then create a 03  inspection lot with no batch.

It won't require a batch when making UD.  The batch field will be greyed out.
