Global variable does not have value on page2

Hi Folks,

Good.morning. I am working on an adobe form where the first page is full, so I added a text wrapped in a subform on page2. I want to display this text(huge, it's a declaration) for a specific plant and region combination. For this, I built an action through builder to hide the textbox for other plants.

In the same sub form, where the text is there, I have plant and region fields.

Unfortunately, when I execute the form, the textbox is not hidden for plants for which I don't want to display textbox. Can you give me an idea, what I might have missed.

I checked the plant and region values populate when I put a break-point in the interface.
