You can also try to clear the MDM cache, you can refer the below link

if clearing dosent works you will have to restart your WEB AS server.

Please revert if you still face the issue.

Thanks

Hi Joseph,

I would like to understand which MDM configuration UI are you talking about?

is it the SAP MDM Web Dynpro Components - Configuration Manager or are you using the standard iViews to create?

Thanks

Hi,

It is the SAP MDM Web Dynpro Components - Configuration Manager ==>

/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM

In the dev system it is ok. it is just in the Prod system that I dont see those fields in the configuration UI.

This is what I made:

1/ in the dev system I added a field - text type

2/ Archive the repository

3/ Unarchive the repository in the Prod system.

4/ go to the ui configuration and dont see this field.

Thanks for your help

If you have restarted WEB AS prior the change please do restart** again. The restart is done to update the MDM schema, which is stored by the portals to optimise transaction with MDM.

**Please ensure you do the restart only after the MDM is completely functional.

then too if it fails i suspect the follwing,

1. Configured MDM destination is not correct

2. Slected Destination is incorrect.

Can you check that also.

Hi Joseph,

Please try to unmount and remount your repository.

Also verify and check for errors/warnings for the repository.

Thanks,

Ravi
