MIGO for scrapping -COPA- KE396 - Inconsistency between a document field and the prof

Hi COPA Experts,

When I am doing MIGO for scrapping a material, I am transferring from one material to other non- valuated material with in the same plant, I have ended up with the following error " KE396: inconsistency between a document field and profitability segment. But I couldn't find any segment with the product. I have looked for the note as well, I couldn't find for this scenario.

Could you please suggest me to overcome this issue.

Have a look at the following notes:-

• Note 352699 - KE396 for characteristic 'Division' for goods receipt
• Note 545344 - MIGO:Check of the SC components incorrect

Hi Bheema,

Check the field status of the field "Profitability segment" for the movement type used at scrapping in OMBW with field status of the GL account in OB14. The field should have same field status. Otherwise it throw error.
