Hello, I really need help!
I'm trying to install SAP Netwaever 7.0 (x32) but an error occurs at phase 16: "Import ABAP":
I've been told could be the virtual memory so I change it but it didn´t work...
these are my pc's properties
My pc is configurated in spanish I apologize for that
I'm not a computer expect therefore my knowledge is quiet limited...
I don't think it is possible to install Netweaver on Windows Vista.
Check the system requirements tab in the below link
SAP NetWeaver Trial Version ABAP (Windows) - SAP Trial Versions - SCN Wiki
regards,
pavan

Thanks Neil for your answers!!
I will try to get Windows Server 2008R2 as you sugest me
But for now I'm still with the uninstall problem
I turn off Firewall aswell as Avast which is my anti-virus, and then I tried to uninstall it again but
it still giving me the same error ¿?
the step is "Enter the database": database indentification:
Database ID (DBSID) : (here is writen:) "NSP"
Database Host: (and here:) "Usuario1"
i think it could be that I don`t have Database ID as I dind´t finish the installation...could be?

Hi.
It failed because the connection was actively refused. If you have Microsoft Windows Firewall running or any other I would disable it while trying the uninstall as detailed below:

Hello Cristina,
Can you please share installation directories log for reference.
As of now SAP NW 7.0 installation is possible only for trial versions.

Pranay

Hi.
This is not supported, you need to use a Microsoft Windows Server operating system, in your case you could use Oracle Virtual Box or similar such as VMWare Workstation to host the Microsoft Windows Server Virtual Machine.
Next. Only the International English MUI is supported, other languages can result in issues.
Finally it appears the issue is a failure to call another user, The requirement is that you use a User whom is not the Administator user but is a member of the Administrators Group. For a system attached to a Microsoft Active Directory Domain then that user has to be a member of the Domain Admins Group for the Domain in addition.
The correct log required to idenify the root cause is the sapinst_dev.log which is the most verbose log. My recommendation is you implement a virtualised enviroment to install the SAP System.

Hi.
For a trial version I would recommend a minimum of Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 Enterprise Edition if possible as it is a nice release in terms of support for older releases such as Netweaver 7.0 SR3, although the ABAP technical structure hasn't changed Java has a lot in that time.
Thanks
