Hi guys,
Our standard system password is not manager. When i am trying to export my oracle database, the update statistics step failed with insufficient priveleges.
I skipped the step, but the delete statistics ia failing now and i cant skip it.
Is there a way to modify the keydb.xml file and skip this step or any other way.
I know the workaround of changing the password to manager before the export, but i dont want to repeat the step again.
Please suggest
Thanks
Cyrus
Cyrus,
Are you on UNix? I am assuming here you're running SAPINST as SIDadm. The statistics are normally run with oraSID.
Maybe you'd test this by logging onto the server as SIDadm and running the delete statistics job from BRTOOLS as SIDadm. You could confirm at least this is the issue.
Solution may be to ensure that SIDadm is part of the dba group of the server, and that permissions are set to 755 on the respective folders.
Hope this helps.
Tim
