Discount condition can be deleted in Sales Return Order

We are having an issue with return sales order. The discount condition type which was charged in the original order can be deleted in the Return sales order. All other conditions are non editable except the discount condition type.

How can I make this condition type non editable.

Scenario is as below:

1) Created a Sales order. Gave a discount of 20 to the customer.

2) When there was a return, the return sales order should have all the conditions of  original Sales order without deleting or changing any condition type. Currently all condition types are non-editable except the discount condition type. I should not be able to 1) Delete the condition type or/and 2) Change any value originally given.

So that means, you want it to be greyed out only in the return sales order.

In that case a standard solution will not work. easiest way will be to code into a user exist to make the all the pricing elements greyed out. You may discuss this with Abaper.

Please correct me, if this is possible through standard configuration (like copy control..etc..)

Hi Siddharth,

Goto V/06 and select the condition in question.

If your requirement is the condition can not be edited then mention D in Manual entries field.

As far as deletion is concerned then unflag the field Delete.

Hi Sidharth,

Please note the following things when you are changing the condition type features in this scenario.

Your return sales orders pricing procedure, most probably will be the same as that of original order. So in that case, the discount condition in original order also will be editable/deletable.

That mean, the business wanted it that way, so you may have to take approval from client as any change in it will affect its function in all other places where you have that condition.

If your issue not resolved, then give the business requirement in detail for suggestions

Check your discount Condition type config in V/06 and remove the delete indicator and check it.
