Reverse posting for the duplicate records from the info cube

Hi Experts,

We have tried to do the reverse posting for the duplicate records from the info cube which is posted long back and the request was not available in the PSA level.

We were not able to do the Selective deletion also as we have the same amount of data(duplicate data) in the cube.

Could you please assist with this issue if there are any other possibilities.

Hi Bala,

There is option like.

This option works only when you know what are the duplicate records and apply below logic.

1 Create self transformation to infocube(infocube1) like infocube1-->infocube1 : Transformation

2 At start routine loop source package for each record  keyfigure value /  2.

3 endloop.

if your BW 7.X then there is no chance to do reverse posting.

if your PSA have whole data(no duplicates) then you can delete whole cube data and reload.

Lading data within bw doesn't take much as loading from source.

Yes, we are on 7.X version and PSA data also not available.

We were not able to delete the request from the Info cube as it was compressed.

Could you please suggest some other possibilities.

Hi,

in BW 7.x not possible to do the request reverse posting.

if not data in the PSA you can get form the ECC system then run the info package for the data source

after you got the PSA then delete the data form the cube then load to cube

this thing test it in dev or qas.
