Purchase Requisition release cancelled allowing to change PR quantity

Dear Experts,

My purchase requisition release strategy is having two release codes with two different levels of approval. Once two approvals release the requisition then only system is proceeding to further level and after that it doesn't allow to change quantity unless it is not revoked. In the same way when first approving authority cancel the requisition then the system is allowing the user to change quantity even though the other level is still pending to cancel. Please suggest how to block the same and don't allow the user to change quantity until all levels are not yet cancelled.

Release pre-requisites are configured according to requirement for three levels and maintained a new release indicator as suggested not allowing users to change quantity till completely released or rejected by all approving authorities.

Dear Shaik,

you have to change release strategy configuration .

Go to SPRO ->  IMG -> Material Management -> Purchasing ->Purchase Requisition -> Release procedure -> Procedure with classification -> Set Up Procedure with Classification ->Release indicator -> Select release indicator ->Details and maintain Changebil. value '1' .

Thanks

You need to create a new release indicator as same as blocked and just change the Field Selection Key as "AKTA"

Then assign the release indicator for all middle portion. Then check the scenario.

Where to assign this release indicator. Is it to replace Blocked indicator with this new indicator?

Not for all. Assign like below screen shot :

I have created the new release indicator as Z.

Thanks for your prompt response. This option is working fine..But in this scenario when the lower level is cancelling the release automatically higher level release too got revoked.

Okay, as per your scenario, it would be like that :

Set the new release indicator (Z) like this and test the scenario.

In my scenario if higher level release there is no need of lower levels to release again. So code 3 is higher level followed by 8 and 36. 3 release possible, 36 and 8 release possible

Sorry, I am not able to understand your exact requirement.

Initially, your requirement was to restrict change quantity until all levels are not cancelled.

Its solution to just make the release indicator as per your requirement.

But now your requirement seems quite different. Its solution to change the release prerequisites.
