QM module

Is it possible to control retains/samples within the module?  For instance, expiration notifications.

Hello,

Do you mean expiry date? for batches?

Hi Natalia

Yes, I did mean for batches.  We keep retains or samples from inspection lots, that eventually will expire.  What I am looking to see is, if the QM module can report and/or alert when the expiration date is approaching?

Hi,

You can use MB5M.

This is great, thank you.  Would there be a way of creating an alert to an authorized individual, without running the report?

Hi John,

I am not sure if without a batch job log if that is possible, specially just by running MB5M.

You may try Running QA07 / recurring inspection batch job, and send the batch job logs to users or stakeholders. Internally you can block/restrict the batches.

Thanks,

Hi Arijit

I will look further into the QA07 to see what it can get me.  I just thought that there might be a simple way of being alerted when the retains are about to expire, through the QM module.

Thank for the help

John
