Where to deactivate systems in LMDB SolMan SP12

We are running SolMan SP12, upgraded from SP8 several months back.  We use ChaRM for transports.  We are refreshing a QA system, the first since our SolMan upgrade, and would like to temporarily set that system to inactive to avoid errors that otherwise occur in ChaRM when a system is down.  It seems the field has moved with this patch release.  Initially this was done in SMSY, later it was moved to LMDB under System Overview, field 'Technical System Status'.  In SP12 the field 'Technical System Status' appears to be relocated/renamed?

On the attributes tab we found a field 'Lifecycle Status' this sounds similar to 'Technical System Status'.  We set the value to inactive there and it did not replicate back into SMSY as we would expect, leaving us to wonder if this is the correct field?

Are there any SolMan SP12 users who can provide guidance on where/how they temporarily set a system to inactive in for SolMan SP12?

Thank you,

dlc

This is resolved.  In addition to the steps I described above we locked the system in TMS per this SCN thread, http://scn.sap.com/thread/3246876 after some delay the system was marked inactive in SMSY as hoped.

Thank you

I don't think there is an option to mark a system as Inactive in LMDB.

If you want any changes to be propagating into LMDB for QAS system during the refresh activity, you delete the SLD details in transactions SLDAPICUST & RZ70 in QAS system.

A managed system keeps pushing updated to data to SLD, which is synchronized to LMDB.

So this would work for you. After the refresh activity is complete, you may enable the settings in SLDAPICUST & RZ70 back to original.
