Does ESS / MSS configurational changes affect Fiori apps

Hi,

Does ESS / MSS configurational changes affect Fiori apps? For example if we are customizating a screen in ESS / MSS does that affect the Fiori app?

Hi Benita,

ESS and MSS are WebDynpro based applications and where as Fiori apps are SAP UI5 based applications. There is no impact on the UI front if you are just dealing with ESS/MSS Floor plan Manager customizations. Anything related to functional logic might impact fiori applications so you will need to verify.

Backend logic remains same for both ESS and Fiori applications. You should always remember Fiori is all about embracing the UI.
