Split one DN item from PO STO

Dear All,

I would like to know, is that possible we split DN item generate from PO STO?

Example :

PO 123 item 01 with 1000 qty

What we want is could the system provide DN 345 and split to multiples item (01, 02, 03..so on)?

DN 345

- item 01 with 250 qty

- item 02 with 400 qty

- item 03 with 350 qty

Right now when we create DN from VL10B it generate DN 345 with item 01 with 1000 qty

There are two things here. First I would like to know what would be the logic of splitting these lines? How would system know that to which line should it split with what quantity ratio?

Secondly what is the business requirement or logic behind this requirement?

For solution I think you can try with routine 302 in VOFM that we assign in copy control of delivery NL at item level. If this routine doesn't help then I dont think so its easily possible without gambling with SAP standards.

You can using routine on copy control if you have rules to split by QTY.
