Using two integration Engine in one PI integration server for load balancing

Hi,

I have some soap to proxy and soap to RFC integarations.The volume of messages hitting the PI server is very large and is going to be increased more and more in near future.So I need to do some load balancing n PI server.Please suggest is it preferable to use two Integration engines in one PI server(saring the same ip and SLD) for load balancing,so that the messages passing through integration engine wil be bifurcated into another integration engine and the load will be minmized.Is there any other way to minimize load in PI server.

Hello Sonalika,

It is not possible to have two Integration Engines in one PI. But I think you may be referring to having an additional Application Server to help with the additional load the system will be processing.
