Hello All,
Just say, we do not have the capability to have an EDI based communication with carrier or carrier collaboration portal.
Carrier can not use EDI and do not want to now because of cost
Shipper is on lower SP to implement CCP.
how about exposing SAP EM Web UI portal to carrier ?
Of course, we have security considerations but what about user licenses ?
For CCP, who pays for the carriers to be on the portal ? What about security on CCP vs EM Web UI ?
Thanks,
Deb
Hello experts,
Any directions / thoughts on this would be really helpful.
Thanks,
Deb

Hi Debabrata,
About CCP, you can ask in SAP TM SCN forum.
SAP EM WebUI portal - Yes, you can roll out SAP EM WebUI to third party carrier who can directly access the system to post or display events. However, you need to consult few things with SAP BASIS team.
1. Security - Obviously, it is a main concern if third party carrier is going to attach "Attachments" then you need to check this link and follow as per SAP.
2. Network and LAN - You have to discuss with network team and enable their IP address to whitelist, so that it will enable to talk to SAP Server.
3. Role - Create a new role and assign the authorization objects relevant to them.
4. Authorization and Filter - Assign only relevant authorizations and remove unwanted fields to display for third party carrier (for example - If they reporting only Departure from Load Port or Shipped from Warehouse event then assign only those events to post or display)
