Hi,

I upgraded my EP6.0 SP09 to SP 10 and now my J2EE server doesn't come up.It takes forver to start. The J2ee process in the MMC stays yellow forever.

Please lemme know if some one encountered the same error.

I also found out that the log file od the MAXBD is 100%

( could that be the reason ?? )

Hi Chill,

if your MaxDB Log is filled 100% you need to make a log backup to free the log again. In order to make your first log backup, you need a (full) data backup first.

More can be found on backing up MaxDB in the link Vladimir gave you.

Roland

Yes, I'm 99% sure that is. You'll have to make log (and data?) volumes backup of your MAXDB instance. This should solve the problem. For more info -> http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/4b/d8f23ea4b42e5ae10000000a114084/frameset.htm

Hope that helps!
