Is there any way where users will get some error messages if location ID is not put against speciif event.What config drives this

Hi Dipak,

Yes,we can do through Define Criteria for Event Message Processing -> preprocessing functions before update event message or you can do through "Check Location - Expected Event" or you can also use Activity method IS_EVENT_EXPECTED in rule set to check and trigger alert to relevant team.

So in case we want that location should be made mandatory do we tick mark-Location check in EE profile?

You need to untick the "Location Check" not to tick.

Hi,

We are facing a strange issue in production where an event has a planned date but without location being filled in and event is getting reported.But when we are trying to replicate this in lower environment the system is prompting to enter location .What else we can check in production why such issue is occuring?

Hi Dipak,

You may be defined custom function program or config settings which you have not moved in to production system.

Can you compare that as first in QA and Production systems?
