Connecting to AWS REDSHIFT and HIVE Database

Hi All,

I am trying to build a POC for SAP BI 4.1 for both Universe directly and SAP BODS.  How can i connect to REDSHIFT and HIVE Database so that i can build either a universe or get data on BODS.

Can someone guide the steps.

Next -  i don't believe BI4.x has native support for REDSHIFT  (i'm not familiar with this source), or at least, we don't have a driver explicitly called Redshift.   But reading the AWS | Amazon Redshift - Cloud Data Warehouse Solutions page , i can see it say it uses PostgreSQL JDBC and ODBC  so you might be in luck.

with regards to implementation approach, You could either create a multi-source universe, federating the 2 sources in a single foundation.  Or you have a universe for each source, and have a multi-query report document.
