We installed SAP ME 15.0 on SAP NW 7.31 SP013. The installation on

windows environement and the DB is MSSQL Server.

We completed the all the installation steps and ran the CTC wizards

successfully! But after the installation we try to open the SAP ME usingthe url : http://<host>:<port>/manufacturing/index.jsp by using

"SITE_ADMIN" it opens the homw screen and there if we try to go for

either of any tabs like "HOME", "SITE", "HELP" there is an error like

"403 Forbidden" appears.

Please find the attached screen shots()related to this

error.

Please help me to fix this error as early as possible! we are at middle

of the instalation.

Thnaks,

Chandrababu

Hi!

The issue might be related to SP13 once ME 15.0 was tested on SP11 as per SAP Note 2109159. Please consider upgrading to NW 7.4 SP06 with needed patches as mentioned wihtin the Note.

Hi Sergiy,

We deployed ME 15.0 & MII 15.0 components directly on SAP NW 7.31 SP013. So did it make any error while deploying components instead of deploying on SAP NW7.31 SP011!!?

Thanks,

Chandrababu

My previous post means that it is likely no one tested ME 15.0 on SP13 and there is some essential difference between SP11 and SP13 that causes this issue. So, you have to decide whether you need SP13-related issue to be resolved or you need ME to work in any way. For the former, please submit a support ticket, otherwise please upgrade to NW 7.4.

The same we test on SAP NW 7.31 SP011 and the same error for ME and as well as MII.

while logging on MII using http://<host>:<port>/XMII its not showing MII home page but works on by using url http://<host>:<port>/XMII/Menu.jsp .

For ME the 403 forbidden by going through any tab on home screen!

Regarding MII error - make sure you have MII_ADMIN component deployed and it matches SP of XMII component.

We installed MII_ADMIN - 15.0.0.0 and XMII as - 15.0.2.0

Did it makes any mistake?

Thanks,

Compare 2 numbers. Isn\t it obvious that XMII is SP02 and MII_ADMIN is SP00?

Hi Chandrababu,

Make sure that the user to access manufacturing-admin context has
SAP_ME_ADMINISTRATOR role, which has SAP_ME_ADMINISTRATOR Action assigned.

Hi Chandrababu,

After logon to NWA, go to Configuration/Identity Management and search for the user.

Click on Assigned Roles, there click on SAP_ME_ADMINISTRATOR and then on Show Details popup, in the upcoming window you can see and modify the actions assgined.
