Transaction Variant for FBL5N

Hi,

I am an ABAPer. This is my first query in SCN. Till now I was a silent spectator and many solutions were helpful for me in crucial situations..

Hope I will learn more.

My requirement is Transaction Variant need to be created for FBL5N  in SHD0 ( No Z-program or Implicit Enhancement allowed ).

Fiscal Year in dynamic selection must hold value 2014 as output only.

I have created variants for many other transactions and was successful.

But here as it is in dynamic selection / ALV container , I am not getting contents value in 'Confirm Screen Entries' screen.

Hi Eli,

That fiscal year lie under the Document Section, where the result will be accurate. And I am curious to know the working of this dynamic selection / ALV container with Variant.

There is no functional difference between the two options: fiscal year is derived from posting date.

Hi,

Why wouldn't you try instead of having 2014 year, enter 'All items' with posting date from 01/01/14 till 31/12/14? In this way you wouldn't need dynamic selection.

Maybe, there is some other way around for dynamic selections as well, but still the easiest way is to create Z-transaction with pre-defined variant.
