Hi Gurus,
We have a master data full extractor pulling data from ECC to BI. It is daily taking 4-5 hours to pull the data. To overcome this the extractor needs to be changed to delta. What measures have to be taken to change it to delta.
Regards,
Rajesh.
Hi Rajesh
If its a content extractor, then a delta should be possible without any issues. Most of the content master data extractors use ale changepointers, with which the actual delta can be managed.
The following wiki page contains info on the ALE changepointers:

Hi,
is it custom extractor or standard extractor.
if custom extractor which based you create the data source (table/view)
if standard data source check data source in RSA2 - check the extraction method - full/delta.
if it is delta it will support the delta otherwise will support only full.(staus - ABR,XXX)
Thanks,
Phani.

Hello Rajesh
Based on your previous replies I assume it is a Z* extractor based on mentioned table, correct me if my understanding is not correct.
So please mention what kind of extractor is it like a View based or function module ?

Hi Rajesh,
you can take it as a delta if the DS is standard and delta pointer is updated.
recently we also changed the laod process for material master load.
