Hai all,

Regards,
Kedar
Hi,
Text item is nothing but actual text.If we want this text to be copied from say sales order to delivery then the item category has to be configured as relavant for delivery, also you need to maintain copy control for same.
Text item can be some notes regrding customers/material or anything.
Free of charge delivery is the one which you want to use in case say eg.you want to send some free samples to the customer then you can create free of charge delivery without reference to sales order directly.
Subsequent free of charge delivery is used in case that customer has send back the damage goods to you and now as a goodwill you will deliver the corrected/new material free of charge then you can use this sales order type.
Reward points if useful

hi,
Text items we find for example when we purchase any electronic goods manufacturer provides manual which provides some information about how to use the device.the manual is nothing but a text item, it is given at a free of cost to the customer, in sap we maintain text item not relevent for pricing.
A free of charge item means, for example some companies give sampling to their customers, expecting some order from them, companies give the sampling at free of cost to their customers.
A subsequent delivery means, with respect to returns companies may send goods to their customers , or with reference to credit memo companies make subsequent delivery to their customers.

Hi,
1- text items,
are used for the info purpose, which has product name, code, batch number ,manufacturing details etc..,
2- Free of charge delivery mostly used when business wants to send free sample to promote the product sales to its clients.
in Std SAP, doc type : FD-no reference is required, - del doc type- LF, nt relevant for billing.
Eg: Pharma industry,
3- Subsequent Free of Charge delivery - - this is also sales document for which , whenever customer requests for returns for damaged goods, instead of sending credit note for the damaged goods , business replace with the same material.
doc type SD: -sales order reference is mandatory for this, Del Type : LF
nt relevant for BIlling.
*Hope it clears, Reward points

A text itme is one which is not relevant for pricing. You can find it in sales text field in header level and item level.
A free of charge delivery is created if you give FOB in Incoterms field in the sales order. Subsequent delivery is a term where the delivery follows after sales order is saved.
thanks
